Privacy Policy
Last updated
The short version: this site is a game about spending someone else’s money, not collecting yours. There are no accounts, no cookies, and no personal data. This page spells out the little that does happen.
What we collect
We use Vercel Analytics to count visits. It is anonymous and aggregated: page views, country, browser, and device type. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. We cannot identify any individual visitor from it, and we don’t want to.
What we never collect
- No accounts, names, or email addresses — there is no sign-up.
- No payment information — nothing on this site costs real money.
- No gameplay data. Your timer, cart, and results live in your browser’s memory for the round and are never sent to our servers. Close the tab and they’re gone.
Cookies
We don’t set any. That’s why there is no cookie banner.
Share buttons
The share buttons on the results screens are plain links. Nothing is sent anywhere until you click one; when you do, you leave for X, Reddit, Facebook, or WhatsApp, and that platform’s own privacy policy takes over.
Third-party content
Product photos are served from Unsplash’s image CDN, so your browser requests those images directly from their servers — a standard web request covered by Unsplash’s privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
We collect no personal information from anyone, which includes children. The game contains no chat, no user content, and no way to submit anything.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever starts collecting more than described here, this page will say so before it happens, with the date above updated.
